QUANTUM WAVE PERSPECTIVE

Preserve the inputs

The objective and its constraints are part of the evidence. Record target profiles, versions and assumptions alongside the generated outputs. Without them, a result can be easy to share but hard to interpret.

Connect the transformations

An output circuit is the end of a process. Transformation traces help a reviewer understand how it arrived there. A useful bundle connects stages rather than leaving a directory of unrelated files.

Be precise about verification

A checksum supports an integrity check. An equivalence check addresses a different claim, under a particular semantics and supported gate set. Neither is a substitute for a measured performance comparison. Report the method and scope, not only a status label.

Document the limits of replay

Recorded versions and seeds help explain an experiment, but environment availability and nondeterminism can still affect reproduction. State what can be replayed, what has been tested and what remains dependent on the execution environment.
